Larissa holds a Masters of Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University. Larissa is an approved supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
Larissa has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults to develop practical skills to address emotional, behavioural and social challenges. Larissa’s interests include working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Difficulties, School Refusal, Anxiety and Depression. Larissa also works with parents to address concerns such as Ante- Natal Depression and Anxiety and Parent-Child Bonding and Relationships.
Larissa’s therapeutic style is warm and collaborative with a sense of humour. Larissa works with clients to develop practical skills and insight tomeet their goals and improve wellbeing. Larissa uses a range of evidence based treatments tailored to meet the needs of individuals and families including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA); Attachment Focused Therapy; Positive Psychology and Play Therapy. Parenting is a challenging job, and Larissa works respectfully with parents to build their parenting toolbox, increase confidence and develop strong family connections.
