Art with Erin – Art Therapy at Diamond Creek Mind and Body Clinic
Erin is a Masters qualified Art Therapist who has 10 years’ experience working with children and their families. She has worked in private, community and school settings, and is a sessional academic for the Master of Art Therapy at La Trobe University. Erin works with art materials and the creative process to foster children’s self-expression, self-confidence and emotional awareness, and is passionate about following children’s interests and working with their strengths. She has experience working with children who have anxiety, and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Erin offers a broad range of traditional and non-traditional 2D and 3D art materials, from pencils and oil pastels, to clay and plasticine, sewing and knitting, as well as mosaics and digital technology. She is also trained in Lego Therapy and Zones of Regulation.
Erin runs both groups and individual sessions.
Erin is registered at the highest professional level with ANZACATA, the governing body for Creative Arts Therapists in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. She is qualified to work with NDIS clients who have a self-managed or plan-managed plan.
